(I haven't come up with a name for these guys yet, and they were only called "mole people" in the game.)
Mole Person Racial Traits
* +2 Constitution, -2 Charisma
* Medium size: As Medium creatures, mole people have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
* Mole base land speed is 20 ft. However, mole people can move at this speed even when wearing medium or heavy armor or when carrying a medium or heavy load (unlike other creatures, whose speed is reduced in such situations). Mole people also have a burrow speed of 10 ft.
* Darkvision: Mole people can see in the dark up to 60 feet. Darkvision is black and white only, but it is otherwise like normal sight, and dwarves can function just fine with no light at all.
* Brick-cunning: This ability grants a mole person a +2 racial bonus on Search checks to notice special items hidden in bricks or other masonry. A mole person who merely comes within 10 feet of an item hidden in masonry can make a Search check as if he were actively searching. A mole person can also intuit depth, sensing his approximate depth underground as naturally as a human can sense which way is up.
* Hurl Brick (Ex): Mole people use the items in their environments to their fullest utility, and train for hours using the common items of Mushroom World as weapons. Mole people can hurl bricks at their enemies with surprising strength, speed and accuracy. They treat bricks as simple weapons and do not take a penalty for using them as a weapon. They can hurl the brick with a range increment of 30 feet, and it will do 2d6 ( + 1 1/2 times Str modifier) damage upon impact, and shatters. The shatter effect works like a splash weapon and deals 1d4 damage to all targets within 5 feet of where it lands.
* Automatic Languages: Common, Molish. Bonus Languages: ??
* Favored Class: I was thinking barbarian, based off of my imagining moles to be kind of an aggressive creature. Who knows.
