Faelyn
Personality: The faelyn, being derived from the fey, have many of the same qualities. They are also not very social. Their vocal cords are actually underdeveloped, making it difficult for them to speak. The faelyn society is a lot more family oriented than that of the fey. Preferring to remain active, this race prefers to hunt their own food and live as a hunter/gatherer society. They hunt any game that is smaller than them.
The faelyn society could be compared to the barbarian. They prefer to use actions rather than words. When the faelyn make a friend, they tend to keep that friend for life. They are very trusting and appreciate any small kindness done to/for them.
Physical Description: They are about twice the size of fey, and appear similar. They have the same body structure as the fey, although they are much more muscular. They also have hair, be it small patches or completely covering the body. The colors can range from white to orange to black. The faelyn have teeth and fangs, as well as a larger mouth than the fey. Some individuals have skin pigmentation that makes them appear to be striped, looking somewhat like tigers. They also have sharp, elongated claws. Wielding weapons is difficult for the faelyn. (They are not proficient with any weapons aside from their own natural weapons.)
All faelyn have tails, some long and some short.
Relations: They have a hatred for all fey. Under no circumstances will a faelyn travel with or even converse with a fey. The fealyn have an interesting relation with the humans. The humans think that the fealyn are humans who have been mutated by the radiation. The humans are afraid of the faelyn, but notice that they are friendly. Generally, the faelyn view the humans as weak and in need of protection. Some faelyn regard the humans as enemies, due to conflict of interest and the fact that some humans have been hunting the faelyn for food. The faelyn regard the drakoor as their ally. They think that the drakoor are higher form of themselves, which is of course untrue. They also regard the drakoor as a higher being, and will always take their side. The fealyn also hate all grandians.
Alignment: A faelyn can be of any alignment, depending on the region they hail from.
Faelyn Lands: For the most part, the faelyn reside on what was once South America. They can also be found in the far north of Ash and what was once Greenland. Others can be found on Australia and Antarctica. They are never found in Asia.
Religion: Most faelyn do not worship in any deity. They do not believe in such things. They know exactly where they came from, and have no question about it. If there was any being or group that may be considered to be worshipped or revered by the faelyn, it would be the drakoor.
Languages: They have their own language which is a combination of grunts and gestures rather than words. They can, however, understand other languages as well as read and write any language that they apply themselves to learn. They cannot, however, speak any other language than their own.
